Steve Borg brings 25 years of hands-on building experience to the IPA team, with a specialty in building code that few in this industry can match. Before becoming a licensed public adjuster, Steve spent more than two decades as a building contractor, learning every detail of what it takes to repair, rebuild, and replace a property the right way, and to code. That background shaped the way he approaches every claim. Having built homes and structures from the ground up, he understands the full scope of a proper restoration, from the framing and structural work down to the finishing touches, and he knows exactly what a job requires to be done correctly. It was this deep knowledge that led him to public adjusting. Steve saw too many homeowners handed inadequate estimates that would never truly restore their property or bring it up to code, and he knew his expertise could change that. Now, when an insurance adjuster denies or overlooks damage or provides an estimate that falls short, Steve is able to rebut it with a real advantage, drawing on his years of building and code experience to fight for what the homeowner is genuinely owed.
